Do you make New Year’s Resolutions? I don’t!
I used to make resolutions that were far too big and difficult to keep. I put too much pressure on myself to achieve the resolution and would be disappointed when I failed. I would inevitably find things too difficult and give up. Then I would give myself a hard time.
So...What do I do instead?
I don’t wait until New Year to make changes. I make them when I want and/or need them. I make baby steps towards the changes I want/need to make. Small changes are easier to make than big changes. I repeat the change regularly until it becomes a habit.
